Feeding

Program

At least eight out of every ten Kenyans go to bed either on an empty stomach or without having had enough to eat according to a survey done by IPSOS Kenya. Additionally, the United Nations records that, at least 650,000 children under five years in Kenya require treatment for malnutrition.

Destiny Connect Fresh feeding programs intends to create a holistic program that not only offers food stuff to its
beneficiaries but also trains the families on optimal feeding and consumption practices. We also train them on how to gain access to adequate and diverse foods, and prevention of illnesses that exacerbate malnutrition.

DFC does these training alongside running a feeding programme in six selected primary schools within Nakuru and in Uyoma, Siaya. In order to feed one school a month, we need at least $500.

With the support and donations of individuals like you, we will be able to reduce the number of Kenyans who go to bed almost daily without a meal as well as reduce the number of malnutritioned children in the communities.

In addition to the feeding programme DCF also farms to supplement the donations made. For efficiency of the process, DCF intends to purchase three tractors to help with the farming.

Join us today in ensuring we feed our communities.
